Whatever your business needs, we can provide the commercial waste service you require. From our initial consultations, we assess the type and volume of waste you have and the space available to tailor the most efficient service to your needs.

Envirogreen provides efficient, sustainable and cost effective commercial waste management and recycling for businesses across Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Our Account Management goes to the heart of your business which is where your waste is generated and enables us to use our expertise to tailor the right services to each clients’ needs. We understand businesses are operating under increased financial pressures and our approach is intended to remove that burden by taking ownership and ensuring your tailored service is cost effective and legislatively compliant.

Many businesses prefer dealing with one point of contact, receiving one set of invoices and a single uniform waste report. Our services are tailored on removing the stress out of managing your waste.

Zero Waste

Zero Waste is based on a waste producer doing as much as they practicably can to avoid sending waste to landfill. We realise this may seem like a daunting task which will present major challenges, either through perception and / or practicality. We break all these down into realistic and achievable goals to enable us to measure success and provide the traceability required to authenticate results.

Waste Hierarchy

The best way for us to help you achieve this aspiration is to develop a service based on the principles of the waste hierarchy, which starts with prevention. We provide a unique re-use programme and can source leading edge solutions in finding new uses for really unusual ‘wastes’! If you have any items about to be disposed due to refurbishment, upgrade, re-fit-out or even a change in branding we would love to hear from you. Some of the solutions we have sourced have created some really special and unique Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and demonstrated how a local Circular Economy can work to the benefit of so many.

It’s only after you have minimised all waste where practicable that we go about helping to ensure as much of the rest can be recycled – whereas so often people believe it is the penultimate.

Customer Focus

Customer care is at the core of what we do and our customer care team deal with all your queries from initial contact to ultimate resolution. Our dedicated account management team will integrate into your business to enable them to bring ongoing innovative solutions, throughout the life time of our partnership.

Our Waste Management Team work with you to help reduce and recycle as much as possible whilst seeking the most cost-effective options available.

This means General Waste is often combined with one of our other segregated recycling services, such as separate food waste, glass waste or dry mixed recycling services.

We will guide you through what composition and proportion of your waste this will account for, using best practice, applicable legislation and you.

Lets Talk

There is no one size fits all solution to managing waste, so let us ask the questions and we will tailor the most efficient service that suits you.

Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) is a practical, convenient yet effective option that can maximise the range of different wastes you generate being recovered for recycling.

Our initial consultations and ongoing support will establish what suitable materials you have across all business operations. The recyclable waste generated within an office tends to be different to what is produced within a production or manufacturing environment as does the volume and available space all of which will play an important role in tailoring your service.

This is why we have made it an important part of our service to provide face to face account management, full site audits and onsite waste consultancy on an ongoing basis.

Lets Talk

Exactly what waste can go in to a Dry Mixed Recycling bin is often a source of confusion, as the range of materials accepted domestically changes from council to council, both in terms of the domestic bin collection service and what is available at local recycling centres.

There is also a lot of change happening globally with the receiving end destinations governments  introducing various policies that has a domino effect on where different materials can be sent.

So give us a call where we will be delighted to explain what is applicable and relevant to you and your business.

By segregating your food waste, you can reduce your environmental impact whilst ensuring you remain legislatively compliance and potentially reduce your overall waste costs.

Our initial site consultations will seek to establish how much food waste you produce.

If you produce food onsite and generate over 5kgs there is a strong likelihood you will need to segregate this to comply with regulations. It is important to strike the right balance between cost efficiency and collection frequency as you won’t want the food lying for too long before it is collected.

The nature of your food and organic waste will determine whether composting or anaerobic digestion is more suitable. Most food waste is sent for anaerobic digestion because in addition to being turned into a valuable resource to create a renewable energy, it is capable of accepting primary packaging.

In addition to regular scheduled collections, we also arrange for bulk clearances and ad hoc collections.

Lets Talk

Don’t forget your Waste Hierarchy when you give us a call, it may even be possible to source a free of charge re-distribution solution for your food waste providing it meets certain criteria.

If you generate a lot of glass waste, it is really important that it is handled properly and safely.

Glass is a valuable resource because it can be recycled endlessly, it just needs to be placed in a separate bin and we will ensure it goes to a suitable end destination capable of helping it continue its life.

Cardboard is one of the most commonly recycled materials in the UK. As cardboard is made of paper and therefore wood, it is an ideal material to recycle.

The benefits of recycling cardboard are numerous, and include reduction of landfill, saving of trees, creation of job opportunities and reduction of greenhouse gasses among others.

It is incredibly important that we as a society focus on developing a habit of recycling cardboard, and at Envirogreen we consider it of the upmost importance for a greener future.

The UK’s overall recycling rates for everyday waste are still below the EU target of 50%. The plastic bottle recycling rate in the UK is about 45%, which falls short of the 90+% rate in Germany and Sweden.

Recycling is crucial to the future health of our planet as it reduces the need to grow, harvest or extract new raw materials from the Earth.

Plastic Recycling recovers the scrap or the waste plastic and reprocesses the material into useful products, The plastic is non-biodegradable, It includes melting down soft drink bottles and casting them as the plastic chairs and the tables, Plastics are recycled during the manufacturing process of plastic goods such as polyethylene film and the bags.

While plastics have been recycled since the 1970s, the quantities that are recycled vary geographically, according to plastic type and application. At Envirogreen we strive a Zero to Landfill philosophy and envision a world where everything is sustained. We can help you achieve this too.

The plastic bumpers arrive at a licensed recycling facility, whereby they are sorted, shredded & granulated. The reground plastic mainly (PP) is sent to European Manufacturers to produce a new product.
